The 2023 festival will take place on Oct. 21 and Oct. 22 at the Harrison County Fairgrounds in Gulfport, MS. Attendees can look forward to two days of interactive experiences and live entertainment. The roster includes live music, interesting demonstrations, dance troupes, pulse-pounding tournaments, and so much more!
No festival brings to life myths and legends like this one! Attendees will travel back in time to 1306 A.D. to get a feel for what life was like under the reign of King Edward I. In the realm of the Harrison County Fairgrounds, a fierce battle between King Edward I and Robert the Bruce plays out at the same time that side allegiances to Viking King Haakon V Magnusson spring up.
This year, the Mississippi Renaissance Festival will offer more excitement than ever before. The event will feature a total of five stages. Make your way to Scotland's Town Square, England's Town Square, Norway's Town Square, Main Street, and Pirate Alley to enjoy different flavors, wares, and sounds! Be entertained by performances and daring feats from mermaids, pirates, and fire throwers. A jousting team will be on hand to dazzle guests with incredible demonstrations. Live music will be provided by Emerald Accent, Pair of Pirates, and many more festival favorites! This all-ages event will also feature a fun petting zoo, an attraction called the Grimm's Forest Adventure, and other fun activities for gallants and maidens!
Calling all believers in magic! One especially notable attraction at this year's festival is a magical unicorn photo booth. Equestrian Chaos and Celisse's School for Equestrian Arts are offering an opportunity for festival attendees to be photographed with tiny unicorns.
