Mississippi's Gulf Coast is sometimes called the "Secret Coast" because it's such a well-kept secret. We're not as well-known as some of those other vacation destinations on the Gulf, but we've got it all, and we do it better.
What does your perfect vacation look like? The trick is finding the right place to do it. From deep-sea fishing to golfing or ziplining, it's all here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Get immersed in nature by taking a cruise on Mississippi Sound or going kayaking on the Wolf River. You can take to the sea for a sunset sail or enjoy a little shrimping. Walk the beach each evening and enjoy the clear water and tranquil atmosphere. Or simply stroll under the stately moss-draped live oaks and magnolias that have stood on these shores and weathered so many storms.
We're also known for our casino and gaming options. Biloxi is the place to go for casino choices, with half a dozen big ones in a few blocks. But Island View is nearby in Gulfport, and the Hollywood Casino is across the bridge in Bay St. Louis. All casinos have slots, game tables, and now include sportsbooks, too. Look for new smoke-free options, and remember that most casinos only allow guests 21 and older on their premises.
Once you've found your diversion and had some fun, is our secret safe with you?
The Inn at Long Beach is located on the strip of sand shared by the biggest destinations in these parts. Up the road is Gulfport, with the Island View Casino and much more. In Gulfport, you can swim with a dolphin or take a cruise to Ship Island. A little farther down Beach Boulevard gets you to the wonderland that is Biloxi, with its world-class gaming, entertainment, and dining options.
If you drive the other way down Beach Boulevard, you come to the small town of Pass Christian. Like Long Beach, The Pass is a quiet beach town where you're more likely to see a dolphin playing in the surf than you are a traffic jam. Beyond Pass Christian is Bay St. Louis, both the bay and the town by the same name.
Explore the Gulf Islands or swim with a dolphin at Ocean Adventures. Try ziplining, hit the waterpark, or blastoff with NASA.
