The Seafood Festival celebrates Biloxi's seafood heritage. Guests can enjoy Mississippi's best seafood in addition to live entertainment, kids' activities, arts, and crafts. Over 25,000 guests enjoy this fabulous annual event.
The 41st Annual Biloxi Seafood Festival takes place on Saturday, September 10th, and Sunday, September 11th, 2022. The event will take place at Biloxi Town Green. On Saturday, the event runs from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and on Sunday, the event runs from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
In 2021, the festival hosted 15 food and 80 art vendors, and the 2022 festival is expected to be even bigger and better. Visitors and residents come together to celebrate Biloxi's culture, arts, crafts, and music.
Biloxi's culture is intertwined with its seafood. Biloxi is located on the bountiful Gulf Coast, and shrimpers and fishermen have been based here for centuries. The Mississippi Gulf Coast is known for its delicious and creative cuisine, and the festival celebrates local and regional amateur and professional chefs.
Kids Village has games, arts, and crafts. Kids will love the specially set up playground with trampolines, climbing towers, a bounce house, slides, and more. In addition, kids can get themed face painting or participate in kid-friendly arts and crafts.
Biloxi used to be called the Shrimp Capital of the World, and today that proud heritage lives on. Creative chefs will cook shrimp and the Gulf Coast's freshest seafood in various delicious ways. Try traditional fried shrimp, seafood nachos, surf-n-turf cheesesteak, and more.
On Sunday, the event hosts the much-anticipated Gumbo Championships. Taste the area's best gumbo and vote for your favorite. The Gumbo Championships feature recipes and creations from amateurs as well as professionals.
The Seafood Festival also hosts a variety of artist vendors. Guests can buy home decor items and original art and do their early holiday shopping.
Throughout the weekend, the festival will feature live entertainment. Local bands and talented DJs will ensure you are jamming out throughout the event. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit out and enjoy the continuous live entertainment.
