Ivan Milicevic founded this family-run vineyard in Abita Springs, Louisiana, in 2015. Milicevic was born in Herzegovina and aimed to bring Herzegovina-inspired grapes and wines to America. He plants grapes native to Herzegovina, such as Blatina and Zilavka. Milicevic Family Vineyards is also home to a working home, and all elements of the farm and vineyard work together to produce a natural, local, sustainable wine. The farm features cows, geese, ducks, sheep, and donkeys.
Milicevic Family Vineyards are available in local restaurants, or you can order ahead and pick up your wine from the vineyard.
