Gulfport has many ways for locals and guests to celebrate the season, and one of the most festive draws is the Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival to be held November 25 - December 31, 2022.
Since 2015, Gulfport has collaborated with Island View Casino and Resort to offer a spectacular Winter Holiday Festival. The event has become known as "The Most Magical Show in Mississippi." This fabulous park was featured in Lifetime Movie's Holiday in Mississippi.
Jones Park is blanketed with over one million holiday lights. The Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival welcomes visitors to greet Santa Claus, go on a train ride, and enjoy fun carnival rides.
A free CTA Trolley is on hand to shuttle you across the park. Hop on and hop off to visit all the park's activities. As a special bonus, the trolley is heated, so you'll stay warm and cozy as you ride and style. The trolley makes it easy for the whole family to enjoy the park.
Warming stations are available throughout the park. These warming stations also feature safe fireplaces so kids and adults can enjoy roasting up S'mores. S'mores kits are available for purchase in the park. In addition to the S'mores kit, concession stations sell hot chocolate and marshmallows so you can enjoy a memorable holiday treat in the park.
Santa's Village is the heart of the festivities. Guests can visit Santa's Headquarters and watch elves hard at work. Of course, you don't want to miss a visit and pictures with Santa Claus. In addition, everyone is welcome to write a holiday wish list and mail it to Santa in the Letters to Santa mailbox.
Everyone loves elves, and everybody loves selfies, especially festive selfies! Commemorate the holidays by taking a selfie at one of the many Elfie Selfie stations throughout the park.
For a magical tour of the park's festive lights, hop on a charming holiday train and enjoy the twinkling lights. Young and old love this unique way to enjoy the holiday park.
The dancing trees are a popular treat. The trees feature choreographed lights that dance to holiday music. So grab a hot chocolate and enjoy the show.
Carnival rides are a fun way to experience the park. Ride the Ferris Wheel and watch the park's beauty from up high. Other exciting rides include the Merry-Go-Round Carousel and the Kids Swing Ride.
