KILN‍

Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company is Mississippi’s oldest packing brewery and the first to set up shop since prohibition. Their brews can be found throughout the south in states including Louisiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, and even as far north as New York. Their beers include series like the Porch, the Back Porch, and Debutante. These beers include Gose, IPAs, cream ales, and imperial stouts. Their taproom, The Porch, offers brick-oven pizzas and calzones and the opportunity to sample many of their freshly crafted beers. The brewery also has events throughout the week and offers weekly tours.

Fly Llama Brewing is a brand new brewery that opened this past fall 2020 in downtown Biloxi. Their taproom is still under construction, but their brews are currently made on site. Their social media accounts keep track of the brewing process for their latest brews, including a Belgian Blonde Ale and a Hazy Double IPA. They also offer Fly Llager, Jamaican Stout, and a Citrus Sour. Their taproom is set to open once they produce ten on-tap beers, which is an ongoing process. Their brewery name is just as impressive as their beers will be.

OCEAN SPRINGS‍

Ocean Springs has many places for craft-beer lovers to sample local brews. Hops and Growlers, located on Government Street, is a microbrewery that locals and visitors love. They offer a wide selection of craft beers with fruity flavors such as a blackberry sour and fruit IPAs. At any time, they may have 20 beers on tap that you can sample from their tasting room.

Craft Advisory Brewing is another local brewery in Ocean Springs. They have a full food menu and brews that include homemade batches and guest beers on tap. Their flavors include adventurous flavor combinations, such as their Pineapple Habanero IPA and Dreamsicle Cream Ale. Their food menu consists of burgers, seafood, tacos, and the german-favorite, Wienerschnitzel.

Fort Bayou Brewing Company offers visitors a relaxing place to spend an afternoon or evening, sampling fresh brews from their on-site gazebo or enjoying a happy hour special. Various events are hosted throughout the week, including TV trivia nights and Uno competitions. Their menu includes Cajun and southern dishes like seafood gumbo, muffulettas, and boudin balls. They also have classic pub fares like burgers, sandwiches, and soft pretzels.

Chandeleur Island Brewing Company infuses local culture into its beers, taproom, and name! They named the brewery after the uncharted islands around the Mississippi Gulf Coast, which are the founders’ favorite spots to catch speckled trout and redfish. The owners were both born and raised in Gulfport, so the southern culture is tied into everything they do. Their beers include a series called Gulf Sour, which blends fruity flavors with tartness for a one-of-a-kind ale. Other notable drafts include the Lil’ Miss Sour, Freemason golden ale, and H90 Surfside pineapple wheat beer. They offer brewery tours and a taproom with many draft beers.
